Forget the cappuccino, these schools need toilet paper

At least the Detroit public schools, have gotten their heads out of the clouds. They’re not worried about providing cappuccino to their staff and students like the Chicago Public Schools. Rather, they’d just like the tikes to be able to exercise adequate hygiene. Throwing a little light on the subject wouldn’t hurt, either.

One school in Detroit sent a note home with students asking parents for donations of toilet paper, lights bulbs, and garbage bags because the school budget could no longer bear the expense. Amazing that their budgeting folks didn’t think to slice the fat off long before it got to this point.

Hey, maybe Chicago can donate a few of their cappuccino machines!
