Whose rights are right?

Illinois parents no longer have to worry about children being coerced into praying in the public schools. The ACLU took care of all that. The one minute of silence for prayer or reflection that used to be a daily practice has now been ruled unconstitutional. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,481427,00.html

This should be of great concern to all Christians. Certainly we should not be allowed to force our beliefs on others. However, we should not be prohibited from practicing our own beliefs in the normal course of our day.

Why, I wonder, is it okay for atheists to prohibit the rights of others simply because they fear those rights might inflict on their own?
