Marge FenelonI’ve just returned from a five-day retreat – a most fruitful, blessed, and rejuvenating time! During those days, I had opportunity to pray much and to visit with our Blessed Mother in the Schoenstatt Marian Shrine at the retreat center. It was wonderful.

Also during that time, I did some discerning about how and where our Lord is asking me to expend my energy and talents. I too frequently find myself over-extended and scrambling to get things done. So, I spent those days asking our Blessed Mother to show me where I needed to focus in order to have the greatest impact on building the Kingdom.

“Mother, how can I be the most effective for you and your Son?” I asked over and over.

Her answers came through quite clearly, and I’m grateful.

Here is one thing that I think you should know:

Effective immediately, my newsletter and Sunday Reflections will cease. I know that some of you have enjoyed them immensely, but it takes me a great deal of work to put them together and that’s time and energy I need to spend elsewhere. I still can share my thoughts from readings and homilies on my MargeFenelon.com blog from time to time. I’ll also continue to pass on prayer requests because I believe praying for each other is vital in navigating the turbulent waters of our times. Those I’ll share in periodic blog posts.

I hope you’ll understand.

There are some other changes I’m going to make as well, but none that will affect you in any way – they’re more behind the scenes, so to speak.

On the upside, the changes I’ve made will allow me to apply myself with increased vigor to three amazing book projects that I know you’ll love:

Forgiving Mother: A Marian Novena of Healing and Peace

When I pitched this book to the publisher, I told them, “This is the book that I was born to write.”  I believe that to be absolutely true. Part biography, part reflection, and part devotional, Forgiving Mother opens the door to hope, healing, and peace for those who have struggled in their relationships with their mothers because of abuse, neglect, mental illness, misunderstanding, or estrangement. I’m elated (and humbled) that Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle has agreed to write the Foreword! It’s a daring book that took great courage to write, placing me under spiritual attack a number of times! I pray that readers will experience the same miracles I have of hope, healing, and peace in the arms of our Blessed Mother Mary. Forgiving Mother: A Marian Novena of Healing and Peace will be released by Franciscan Media in both print and audio format in October, 2017.

Ten Promises of Jesus that Will Turn Your Sorrow into Joy

This Scripture-based gem is a book of hope. Based on ten instances in which our Lord directly promised us that our sorrow will be turned to joy, Ten Promises of Jesus uses real-life witness, Church documents, the Catechism and wisdom from the saints to assure us that, no matter how dark things might seem, our sorrow will indeed be turned to joy. Twenty-Third Publications will release Ten Promises of Jesus that Will Turn Your Sorrow into Joy in March 2018.

Marian Pilgrimage: A Living Novena

Modeled after my award-winning best seller, Our Lady, Undoer of Knots: A Living Novena (Ave Maria Press, 2016), Marian Pilgrimage: A Living Novena  is part armchair pilgrimage and part devotional. For the book, I’ll journey to nine different Marian pilgrimage sites coast-to-coast across the United States over the next several months. I’ve named this endeavor Marian Pilgrimage: Discovering Mary Across the USAAs I travel, I’ll be blogging here at MargeFenelon.com and National Catholic Register, doing live segments on Relevant Radio’s Morning Air Show and live streaming and posting on social media so that you can join in the grace-filled excitement.

The result will be a book that will highlight our rich Catholic heritage, increase appreciation for the beautiful Marian sites we have all over our wonderful country, draw us into greater unity as a nation, and urge readers to visit our Mother in her places of grace – man of which are right in our own back yards! Ave Maria Press will release Marian Pilgrimage: A Living Novena in Fall 2018.

Already there is tremendous excitement for Marian Pilgrimage: A Living Novena and new developments are happening every day, including the possibility of organized pilgrimages, a docu-series for EWTN, and a second volume of the book! Your prayers are deeply appreciated as I proceed with this huge adventure!

I’m very excited about these new books and about all the related (and unrelated) developments that are on the horizon. I’ll be sure to keep you informed here on my blog and on my social media outlets, too.

I look forward to receiving your feedback, comments, questions, prayer intentions, and insights as we proceed together!

God bless you and all that you do,

Marge

Please pray for my grand daughter while visiting the Marion shrines. My grand daughter is getting married to her partner in September. Pray that God will intervene in someway so this marriage does not take place. This is not of God, only evil. I will pray for your safety as you travel. God bless you and THANK YOU!!
