Knowing her wisdom and unity with her Son, I trust her to guide me according to God’s holy will. She won’t and can’t want anything other than that. She adheres to God’s will in all things including the requests she grants to her children – me, and you. Her greatest desire is to see us happy in heaven for all Eternity.
This is the time to crown our Blessed Mother, not just on the feast of her Queenship (August 22), but every day, and even several times a day. In the past several weeks, there have been 50 recorded incidents of churches, parishes, and religious statues being destroyed in the United States and Canada. That list continues to grow. This is a cause for great concern, but not for hopelessness. Buildings, parishes and statues are structures that can be defaced and destroyed, but our faith cannot – as long as we cling to Christ and his Mother.
A person who is dying doesn’t waste words on frivolous things. They don’t have the time and often not the strength, either. There are many things Jacinta could have said at that moment, but she chose what was most critical for others to know.
