I can hardly believe that I’m leaving for Belgium in just one week! A few months ago, I was invited to join the Diocese of Green Bay On Mission Pilgrimage to Belgium hosted by Mater Dei Tours. A generous soul has sponsored my trip because of my work with the apparitions at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion and the cause for canonization of Adele Brice. I’m still in shock! I’ll be traveling with some of the folks I know from the Shrine and from the Diocese of Green Bay, including Bishop Davide Ricken. We’ll be visiting Adele Brice’s homeland, including the parish where she and her family received the sacraments. We’ll visit Antwerp, the port from which the Brice family sailed for America in 1855. We’ll also get to see churches, cathedrals, and museums in Brussels, Bruges, and Leuven, including the site of the Our Lady of Beauraing apparitions. As a gesture of gratitude, I’ll be taking petitions from others along on the pilgrimage. I’ll also use my pilgrimage research and experiences in an upcoming book. But more on that later! Here is the link for submitting a petition: Belgium Pilgrimage Petitions. As always, please pray for me, and I’ll be praying for you! I’ll be posting about my adventures on social media, so you’ll want to follow me there. |
