We have much to celebrate, particularly on the Feast of Christ the King, but also on a daily basis. Perhaps we won’t literally dance in the church aisles, but our hearts could and should dance within us. Like King David, we should be absolutely exuberant and unafraid to let it show.

In a nutshell, sin and laxity make us prisoners to the evil one and stop us from freely, joyfully, following Christ. Calling upon Our Lady for her motherly care and intercession will loosen the bindings that hold us back.
The Dove, in her staggering sorrow, sighs in an attempt to call out to the Father for consolation and strength. Her sigh signals her dependency on him, and her desperate need to feel his love.
At the same time, her sigh draws the Father to her, since he cannot resist her call.
The Catholic Church celebrates the birthday of Mary on September 8. Above all, she is our Mother and she loves us more than we could ever imagine. She is constantly beside us, constantly interceding for us, and constantly showering us with her affection whether we’re aware of it or not.Don’t you think she deserves a birthday gift?
