This morning over breakfast, I remarked to my husband that I wished I had good news to post on my blog today. Well, no such luck, as again I’ve run across some unsettling things, such as Dennis Prager’s column, “Why Young Americans Can’t Think Morally.”
While the column might present a dismal picture of our next generation, I did come up with one positive: Those of us who are paying attention to such trends and news items are being pro-active in turning the tides. Rather than sticking our heads in the sand and pretending the dangers aren’t there, we’re noticing them, assessing them, and deciding what we can do to counter them. We can work hard to have an impact on our own children and the other young people in our lives. In my view, that’s a very positive thing!
