My friend and colleague, Donna Marie Cooper O-Boyle, has launched a terrific site for the Year of Faith: “Catholic Moms Talk.” I’m flattered to have been invited into the lineup of wonderful, inspiring writers. My first post runs today, and I invite you to check back often for new posts, not only from me, but also from the insightful and faith-filled women who join me in this endeavor. My gratitude and congratulations to Donna for the concept and implementation of this useful tool for increasing our faith! Clicking on the photo (above, left) with take you directly to the Catholic Moms Talk site. Enjoy!
CliftonStrengths and Catholic Faith: A Deeper Connection
Grace does not erase who we are; it perfects and elevates what God has already placed within us. As the Catechism teaches, “Grace builds on nature” (CCC 2005). Strengths are part of that nature, and when we understand them, we can cooperate with grace more freely. Instead of trying to imitate someone else’s path to holiness, we can cultivate virtue in the way God designed us to flourish.
