Oh, gimme a break. Bored? So, a beautiful, smart, healthy 13-year-old girl can’t think of anything better to do than send 14,500+ texts in one month? According to this article in the New York Post, that amounts to one text every two minutes every waking hour for 30 days. How healthy for mind, body, and spirit can that be? The article treats it lightly. but I’m not so sure we as a society should. Our kids deserve better than this.
CliftonStrengths and Catholic Faith: A Deeper Connection
Grace does not erase who we are; it perfects and elevates what God has already placed within us. As the Catechism teaches, “Grace builds on nature” (CCC 2005). Strengths are part of that nature, and when we understand them, we can cooperate with grace more freely. Instead of trying to imitate someone else’s path to holiness, we can cultivate virtue in the way God designed us to flourish.
