I’m delighted to share this with you: Beginning today, I’ll be writing a weekly column for the award winning Aleteia! What’s Aleteia? It’s a quickly growing, international Catholic portal that brings pertinent news, intriguing features, balanced analysis, and edifying columns to readers all over the world. I’ll be writing for Aleteia’s English division.

From their “About Us” page:

Aleteia, from the ancient Greek “Aletheia”, “truth”, is a worldwide Catholic network sharing faith resources for those seeking Truth.
There are 1.2 billion Catholics in the world, and more than 2 billion Christians. By uniting our forces we will be able to represent a significant international voice online, in the global cultural panaorama.
Aleteia is a service in six languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian.
Aleteia is a project of the Foundation for Evangelization through the Media (

My column is part of the “power lineup,” of Cari Donaldson, Heather King, and yours truly that appears on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week. I’m humbled to be lined up with two such awesome authors! I’m also thrilled to be working with the folks at Aleteia because they’re really great to work with and dedicated to bringing the Truth to those who seek it in a positive, straightforward way.

Online DatingMy column this week is about the growing popularity of online dating sites:

You’ll Never Guess Who’s Dating Online these Days

No matter what your state in life, you’ll be intrigued by who’s using these sites and why. It really shows a trend in our society. It surprises me, and I’ll bet it surprises you.

I welcome your feedback about today’s column, and about what you’d like to see me write my columns on in the future. I want to know what’s on your mind and heart. If it’s on yours, likely it’ll be on others’ minds and hearts as well.

Please check out Aleteia – not only for my column, but for all the wonderful information and inspiration it contains.

As a frequent visitor to Aleteia I find it very informative and helpful; albeit not that well publicised.

Congratulations on your appointment to their writing team.

We all have a responsibility to evangelise as best we can, and in this technological age many choose to do so via their Blogs. Perhaps a column every now and then drawing attention to such Blogs would help.

God bless.
