Let me first say that I think very highly about Christopher West, and agree with David Schindler that he would give his life for the Church. However, I, too, have noticed misconceptions in Mr. West’s teaching and speaking. However, Professor Schindler says it so much better. Please read and consider what he has to say carefully.
Holiness isn't an all-at-once kind of project. You don't do this or that and suddenly achieve holiness. Holiness is something you work at in small ways day-in-and-day-out. It's a progression that takes place over the entire span of your lifetimes.
