The Extraordinary Synod on the Family began yesterday. Here’s a great video by Holy See Press that explains in a nutshell what a synod is and why this one is important. I hope you’ll share this with both your Catholic and non-Catholic friends so all the misconceptions and speculations can stop. The goal is not to change Church teachings (Church teaching cannot be changed), but rather to find out where the worldwide Church is at and discover how to help all Catholics fully live the correct Church teachings on marriage and family. Enjoy!
CliftonStrengths and Catholic Faith: A Deeper Connection
Grace does not erase who we are; it perfects and elevates what God has already placed within us. As the Catechism teaches, “Grace builds on nature” (CCC 2005). Strengths are part of that nature, and when we understand them, we can cooperate with grace more freely. Instead of trying to imitate someone else’s path to holiness, we can cultivate virtue in the way God designed us to flourish.
