Sure, we can pick up our cross and follow Jesus. But can we forgive those who are nailing us to it?

While hanging on the Cross, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Lk 24:34). Of course he did; he’s God. But, did we ever realize that we need to say it, too? Picking up our crosses and following Jesus also includes forgiving those who are nailing us to it.
