Think You’ve Got it Rough?

It’s been a bit quiet around here lately.

That’s because I’ve been traveling to the Philippines with Catholic Relief Services as part of the Egan Journalism Fellowship. I left October 22 and returned November 1. During my time among the Filipino people, I saw, heard, and learned things that previously had been beyond my scope of comprehension or imagination.

I can’t wait to share my experiences with you!

Here, in my first post-trip blog, I write about my overall impression of the people of the Philippines. It’s made me resolve never to complain again about what I don’t have. I bet you’ll feel the same way once you’ve read it.
