Do you hate to wait? Most of us do. Advent is all about waiting, about finding joy and longing for the coming of Jesus. Mary understood this waiting. She understood what it was like to wait for the unexpected to become the expected, to wait for the fulfillment of our desires, to wait for the Lord Jesus to be born anew in our hearts.
