Miracles do indeed happen, and they’re happening every day in Champion, Wisconsin. That’s the site of the only Marian apparition site in the United States – the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in the Diocese of Green Bay.
I visited there recently as part of Marian Pilgrimage: Discovering Mary Across the USA, my long-term project to journey to and write about nine Marian pilgrimage sites throughout our country. The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is the first stop on my nine-part pilgrimage. Here’s my report for the National Catholic Register.
