Look who I found at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help! It’s the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt! She was hanging prominently in the vestibule…Who would have thought?

We made a pilgrimage to the Shrine earlier this week. It’s the first and only Marian apparition in the United States to be approved by the Church, and it’s right here in New Franken, Wisconsin in the Diocese of Green Bay.
The pic at the left is me with the Mother Thrice Admirable. At right is the interior of the Shrine, with the high altar built directly on the apparition site. Below is the exterior of the shrine and the surrounding buildings. It sure was cold, but the sun was bright and beautiful.

I’ve got lots to tell, so watch for future posts!
